	I have worked as a full-time captain, delivery skipper, navigator and/or crewman aboard numerous ocean-going sailing yachts since 1979. During this time I have logged over 200,000 nautical miles offshore, including 13 trans-Atlantic crossings; several deliveries to/from the Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Baltic Sea, Red Sea, and Pacific Ocean; The 1985/86 Whitbread Round-the-World Race; and I have raced, cruised and delivered yachts in every ocean apart from the Arctic.

	Full-time captain, based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. My numerous responsibilities encompassed everything from navigation and overall management of the vessel (and all crew members aboard), both at sea and in port, to general maintenance and deck work. I was also responsible for all logistics involved with regattas and deliveries, including crew accommodations, travel to/from sailing locations, crew payrolls, boat accounts, etc.
